Tammy and I joined a volleyball team with the Austin SSC and we play every Sunday night. The team is called Spikes of Glory and we are 0-1. We lost last week, 1-2, in a game that turned out being quite competitive.
We play tomorrow night against a team that also lost in the opening round (0-2). Sometimes you come across these teams that want to all wear the same knee high socks and this next opponent is apparently one of those teams. It makes me shake my head and hope that my teammates never ask to coordinate socks as well.
This is the squad and although we may look like a bunch of friendly suburbanites, let me assure you… we are.
